Every classroom has two adult workers. We have a paging service for
families of infants so that families can feel comfortable leaving their
children in the nursery.
Childcare
for Infants and Pre-school aged children is
provided so parents and caregivers can attend Sunday morning Bible
Study (10am) and Worship (11am), and Wednesday Night Bible Study (6pm). We always have at least two non-related adults caring for our
children. All our childcare workers are interviewed and screened by
the Personnel Team. Any volunteer caregivers must be members of the
church for at least six months before serving.
The Children's Sunday School
follows an ecumenical lectionary based curriculum called
Seasons
of the Spirit. Therefore, what they learn in Sunday school
has a direct correlation with our themes for worship. During this hour
of learning we hope to empower children to be transformed in Christ by
exploring the meaning and mystery of the Bible, celebrate through
worship, engage in ministries of justice, witness and love, and learn to
live in a community of faith, shaped and led by the Holy Spirit.

Wednesday Children's Activities:
Each Wednesday from September through May, at 6:00 pm, children
learn about the bible, participate in music, and learn about mission work carried all over the globe by Field Personnel supported by
the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship. Children are also involved in local mission projects.
